Project SCOOT

150ccc "Modern Sportbike Style" in Red/Black/Silver

This was a project that I bought with a friend when we decided we needed something to tinker with.  When we bought it, it was non-running, the tires were flat and the scoot was in pieces.  The previous owner had a problem with it and tried to fix it, but never solved the problems.  After getting frustrated, she just put it in the backyard under a tarp and let it sit for a year.  When we got it, besides not running, the headlights didn't work, battery wouldn't charge, engine (once running) wouldn't go past 4000 RPM's (should go to 8000 RPM's).

At this point we have mostly fixed everything except for 2 little problems. The speedometer doesn't read correctly and the engine has a little jerk at around 1/2 throttle.

What we did:

Replaced Battery
Replaced Stator and Magneto
Replaced Regulator/Retifier
Replaced Exhaust Gasket
Replaced Muffler
Replaced Fuel Filter
Replaced Fuel Lines
Replaced Vacuum Lines
Flushed gas tank
Cleaned Carburetor
Changed Engine Oil
Changed Gear Oil
Adjusted Brakes

To Do:
Replace Speedometer Cable
Re-Jet carb
